Ok, posted a topic two seconds ago, but I have another back up question here. How many ppl feel comfortable checking out the girl scenes on their own?

I met up with people through this site..... made checking out the scenes a lot more comfortable!

Thats really brave of you, good on you. When I went, I dragged a few straight (but very supportive) friends with me. But I think going alone would have pushed me that much fruther out of my comfort zone.

Checking out the scene on your own.. hmm no(unless your drunk ). The first time I went to the bank hotel I dragged my sister with me.
But made some friends and going more often now!

I haven't been out on my own... that is waaay out of my comfort zone. I was just wondering if it was the norm when new to Syd. I don't really know enough ppl to take with me yet. Thanks for the replies...

iv been to Moist alone sober lol yea that was a really big fail lol. but hun if u ever need someone to go out with give me a yell  i sure a hell need some mates lol

i live like literally 30 seconds walk from the sly fox and some nights i go in there, totally sober just by myself walk around the bar once and go back home after.. so yeah, pretty awkward.

I have always wanted to check out the site but too shy and chicken out.

cs - Realise why you do one lap and leave? Coz it smells like ham and is probably more hygenic to pee on the street than in the toilets. You gotta be sober to notice though! Ughhhh...

yup it'll probably feel weird to check out the scene by yourself... I met friends here for a predrink then went clubbing and it was so awesome coz u got to dance altogether. LOVE dancing, if you ever need someone, call me. I live about 10 mins from newtown!

The first time I went to Girlthing I was on my own but had planned to met up with some of the girls from Sapphic when I got there.  Now I usualy still head out on my own but have many cool sexy chicks to catch up with when i get there.

When you want to go out put up a post that your wanting to go somewhere and when, and others should reply to meet up with you either before or at the club. 

been here for almost 2 years now, and i seriously haven't met anyone who can be friends with me. well, that's if u exclude my ever-supportive-all-straight-friends.

was really keen to improve my social life so i went at bank hotel last friday. i think i came in too early, cos it was still pretty quiet. i end up gatecrashing another "straight" party.

i think i'll never have the courage to do that again, and what's worse is i think i can NEVER meet someone of my "specie", as my friends would call it.
