I'm just interested to hear what girls say. I've heard so many times what the typical guy may want but i'm curious to know how the whole girl thing works and what attracts you to a particular girl

So... What kind of girl do you go for?

mmmm this is hard. i was in a relationship with someone who i was very much so attracted to, and she has a sporty soft butch style but has a very feminine face. For example, like Shane from L word...:)

but then again, femme ladies are oh so very very sexy!

particularly though i am attracted to beautiful eyes and lips :)

Hey Roach i hear you. I have to agree that's kinda my style but then again my ex girl was different to that and i was very much attracted to her. She was a girly girl but then again i sensed this tom boyish energy from her. She'd probably be cranky with me saying that but i thought it was a really nice thing. I'm also a sucker for the funky hair girls... Physical things create a first impression but it's all about connection for me and you never know what that will look like

I love eyes, when eyes sparkle i am hooked..i like a curvey shaped body. But most important is the values and interests and personality.

Personality beats good looks... although they help.... but a bad personality can ruin any pretty face.

Even the prettiest girl can be plain... they need that little something that catches you, but i dont know what.

I love girls that like to laugh, joke, energtic, but sweet and huggable.

I don't think that gave an exact girl id go for sorry lol.

can I get an amen to what travelbug wrote? :)

It doesn't matter how good looking a girl is, if it seems like the "lights aren't on", then they aren't that attractive to me. I think a girl can be very attractive depending on how good of a conversation you can strike up with her

Hell yes, travelbug. A pretty face with no personality is like dating/talking to a wall. Now, it might be a really, really nice wall. Even with some great decorations. But it's still a bloody wall.

Anywho, I'd have to say that confidence is by far the sexiest thing a girl can have. That, along with the ability to laugh at themselves (as well as my lame ass jokes), but also being able to have an intelligent conversation about politics/books/philosophy/theweather/idon'treallycareaslongasit'sinteresting... well, I'm a goner. If you want to get physical, then I admit I do go for the femme girls (not barbies though.), but by no means are they the only type of girls I find attractive or am open to =].

Ellie I think you've almost pinned it......

Attractive (whatever someones deems as attractive), Sense of humour, Intelligent, Can hold a conversation, Sex drive, No caked on make up, Happy being Natural, Yeah I don't mind you covering up pimples if it makes you self concious (god I need it sometimes!), Speaks their mind, but also knows when to hold their tongue.

But I agree with Ellie, I am open to a variety of people ....

I think it sounds like we all have a pretty good picture of things... what we like... dont like. I have to say i agree with everyone. Inner beauty always shines out and it's a keeper. Prettyness, what is it anyway. When i connect with someone they become so beautiful. I like to think that i see a persons soul... that sounds deep hey but that's what it's like. I find beauty in the oddest things. Most of the time it's the most quirky things that are just the best, the things that make me laugh and make me see the the true essence of who that person is. Ahhh it's beautiful

hhmm this is a tricky one... i definately agree that personality is the most important thing and if they are good looking thats just a bonus.

in terms of physical attractiveness im a mess...i love all girls...i especially like girls who aren't affraid to be a little femme-butch like shane from Lword...my dream girl (just with a slightly different personality).

Nice words Meaghan, the more emotionally I get attached to someone the more beautiful they become. Every day we grow closer - their beauty grows more (weird but true for me). For me It’s all about the connection I think. Also I can’t say I like extremes though (really butch or really femme.) My ex looks really butch but the better you get to know her she is actually really girly it was funny. I have a major soft spot for blue and green eyes, there is something about girls with blue or green eyes that just make me trust them. But in the end all girls are beautiful, it might be there personality, there smile, there humour, there sparkling eyes. I think when u take the time to look we can find beautifulness in everyone.

this is a hard one, and I don't think i have any specific "type." Generally it seems I end up with femme girls, but give me a girl with half a shaved head, piercings and tatts and Im super head over heels :-P Punky is definately something I go for, but it all comes down to personality.

For me this means confidence, sexual and personal power, intellect, humor, spirit, creativity/artistic interest, strong political opinions and knowledge...Theres nothing sexier than confidence...People who know that they're totally fuck-able and turning heads but they're still a humble person. And I like someone whose not afraid to challenge me and tell me Im being a dickhead haha, or tell anyone else for that matter. :)

i think what makes me attracted to girls is that girls are awesome and more emotional than guys.. i love the talking, the going shopping together, the checking out each other style, the honest feeling that you can't get with guys..

about type, i don't know.. i thought i'd go for tomboy short kinda type, but i'd go more nuts for gorgeous black long hair girls like megan fox and mila kunis.. but i think lip service's frankie is super hot.. ^^
