Hi there, I have just moved to Sydney from TAS and I'm recently out of a 3 year relationship so I am looking for new friends that are like-minded and fun. I am a very social and fun-loving person and love meeting new people. As I am new to Sydney, I do not know many people so I would love to meet all sorts of new friends. I love clubbing, the arts and well, pretty much most things I like, or at least I am willing to have a crack at. Please contact me if I sound like someone you want to be friends with. you should make it along to one of the nights out, extend numbers with people going etc...im keen for another newtown meet=up or something. Plus, you'll meet a whole heap of us on sunday if you come to chicks with picks, its a pretty awsome night.

Chicks with Picks is a music night at the Clare Hotel in Ultimo (opposite UTS) where female musos share their tunes. The next one was originally this Sunday, but according to this thread: http://www.sapphicsydney.com.au/apps/forums/topics/show/4687563-next-chicks-with-picks , it's changed to next Sunday, 15th of May. http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=168331409891575 the theme this time is karaoke, so it should be interesting.

Hey there! Thanks for the reply I would love to come along to one of the nights out, it sounds great! I can't help but asking only because I moved to Sydney to do acting, where do you go? I was reading one of the forums and saw that, I'm looking to do some screen acting classes because I mostly theatre trained, do you know any good schools? Chicks with picks sounds like a pretty fun night, I will definitely try and make it along! Hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks yep just out of a three year relationship! Man, it's tough but I'm ok now, I guess I just need to find myself again. So how long have you been in Sydney?

Hey Randa! NZ huh? That's a pretty big move! I was born there but I unfortunately haven't been back since I was a baby. Are you enjoying Sydney? I come from a really small town in TAS so it's like a massive culture shock for me haha.
