Looking to talk to some new people and make some friends..I have only one lesbian friend but we dont hang much.. I feel a bit isolated from other gay/lesbians and the community.. I pretty much live the life of a straight girl. All my friends are straight and i just wish i had some gay/lesbian friends to hang out and chat with. My partner feels the same. We dont go to many gay/lesbian events or anything like that so im/we are looking for a reason too please dont be shy and say hello im easy going you can talk about anything with me, introduce yourself

Also to meet other couples for friendship would be cool too

you and your gf should defintely come out to the girl nights, check the calendar! and we usually try to meet up for drinks or dinner beforehand, we're a pretty friendly bunch. majority of my friends are straight too, they're great and all  but its so lovely meeting more like minded people.

a group of us are planning to go to moist at arq this friday the 25th, u should definitely come along with ur gf, great music and awesome crowd!

possibly.. might be in cronulla for post exam celebrations but havnt been to moist in ages so might go to that..

I identify myself as bi/lesbian, tho, I have been hesitant to get out and meet people in queer community per se. I have tooo mannyyy straight friends that I adore but (recently) I feel that it would be much better if I had some friends that I could be open about my sexuality without being judged and talked about.

Also, I LOVE CLUBBING!! someone take meeee thereeee! XD lol

I feel the same as you. My only gay female friends are closeted and my only male gay friend lives too far away to see him as often as I'd like, so I often feel isolated from, shall we say, the "gay community." My problem is that I'm only 16, though not far off 17, and so I can't attend bar nights and I have trouble meeting people. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?
