Oh gosh honey, that’s such a horrible thing to happen. My own worst nightmare. Don’t lie, there’s no point. I think she would know the truth anyway. If it was up to me, I’d just tell my mum before anyone else had the chance. It’ll be hard, but at least this way you get to explain it on your terms. Maybe you could take her out to coffee or something, that way she can’t really make a scene as you’re out in public. I was talking to a friend of mine who recently came out to his parents, and as he said; you’re still their daughter, and they will still love you no matter what. If you need to talk to someone, the girls down at ACON are really good. It’s a bit nerve-racking at first, but they might be able to give you some advice.

Maybe you might also just need to escape home for a little while, just until the heat dies down. Do you have a friend that you might be able to stay with?
