Sapphic Sydney

Hey, I'm coming over from London to Oz in September to live and work for 6 months in Sydney or Melbourne but wanted to know which had the better scene? Which has the younger crowd (I'm 21)? What do peoplethink?

well i say sydney, but that's cause i live here lol. melbourne is cool too though. they both have a young crowd. i think melbourne is a bit more arty so if you like that stuff then melbourne otherewise sydney is better =). they're both similar in ways though.

Hahaha i asked the same questions when i was trying to decide.  Melbourne has an edgy feel to it., like East London.  Definitely more arty than Sydney but in my opinion not as lively and as busy as Sydney.  Sydney had the whole package for me, but it depends what you're looking for.  Weather isn't too hot in Melbourne either, if you're moving for better weather - Sydney is the place you want to be...
