Sapphic Sydney

Hey I'm Ailish  I'm a student from England, coming to Sydney ON MY OWN in the summer so thought I'd join up and maybe meet some people who would welcome me to your city when I get there ??

I mainly want to know about the best spots to go, what nights there's stuff going on, any big events on in July/August that I'm oblivious too aaand any live music venues I might be able to get gigs at to pay for my slight party habit. Also be nice to have some people to hang out with some days so I'm not a total dork/loner lol

Always willing to say hello to new people in the city as I'm very much accustomed to that awkward I-don't-know-anyone feeling! Bear in mind, however, that your Northern Hemisphere summer will be winter down here and it will be quite chilly, although probably not quite as cold as England as you're used to.

There are always great gigs on around and about Sydney, and plenty of live music venues along with great girls nights and all manner of thing. That, and always lots of things to do during the day - coffee and bookshop browsing are my fortes haha.

Anyway, can't really think of anything specific right now so I'll stop blathering on haha. Take care! xx
