OutSkirts is back with a hot New Years Eve show for 2009, at the newly renovated Sandringham Hotel in the heart of Newtown.

Featuring premier original female-fronted acts, Outskirts is kicking it up a notch to carry you into 2010.

The usually unplugged line up will combine rock with acoustic, taking full advantage of a brand new stage at the Sando.

We’ll be rockin’ into the New Year with VAMP, an all girl soundscape of dirty, sexy, rock and roll, Bonney Read, fresh from wowing girl night audiences with their tight debut performances and The MakeUp, an indie pop-rock outfit fronted by Leah Rushforth (of Australian Idol fame).

Be enchanted by acoustic songstresses: Amy Vee, charming you with her ethereal indie pop-ness and intricate melodies, Joanna “wildfire” Leigh blazing up the stage with passionate folk-rock and smoldering ballads, and The Lucky Wonders bringing their rootsy good-vibes down the coast from Byron.

Over the past four years, OutSkirts have celebrated the high caliber of original female talent in our community to sold-out crowds. This event will be no exception!
