hey gurls... well, some of u might know, i think i might be in love withthis girl.

well, she's a singaporean and this is her first and last year innewcastle and will be flying back early december. meaning, i might never eversee her again. maybe. singapore is just beside malaysia (i'm malaysian) and igo there quite often... so if i do, i might/might not call her out for coffeeor something. the thing is, i'm flying back end of november for a few monthsand i was planning on telling her how i feel before i leave.

we're not really close but we are alright. i stay over at her housecause i'm really close with one of her housemates, they are all pretty tight sowe hang out quite a lot. the thing is... she's a christian (and so am i btw)and her christian background is pretty conservative! she's a goody twoshoes...! she did say out loud that she wasn't a lesbian before... but what i'mclinging on is a sudden spurge of a miracle that she's lying or has changed hermind or something! dont really know how it'll play out but do u guys think ishould tell her? i've not come out to anyone except a few close friends andthey are all saying that it's just a phase of mine, that i'll get over itetc...

she did come from a girls school - meaning she is exposed tolesbians... so she should know about it pretty well. and i'm a christian whobelieves that gays and lesbians are equals to straight people (we're all one,people!! XD)... she most probably isnt one. i so need advice!! just hoping thatsomething good will come out of this

i guess i just wanna finally come out and let a person i really careabout know how i feel... and even if she rejects me at least i tried? and shemost probabaly wont want anything to do with me if she doesnt feel d sameway... which isn't a biggie cause she's going back anyways...

HELP!! please advice/comment/just help? i'm going nuts!

I so totally get that Singaporean girl-school thingy but you know she might be one, way longer before you knew it? like me sometimes i would just deny even a close friend would like are you gay, and they will be in laughing mode. so.. i will just normally laugh my way away.

so yea i would say go for it, you will never regret after something that had been done. at least you tried! and yes honest and straight to the point will be the best.  Good luck for that.

Is this a singaporean thing? Because i dont think that is true of Australian all girls schools. I went to one and was the only lesbian there, plus was only out to close friends until after school finished. Contrary to the stigma most girls i know who came out in highschool went to unisex ones, i suppose because they found that the guys didnt judge them, where as all girl schools are usually just bitch fests and gossip centers.

yeah there is quite a large number of lesbians/bisexuals in singaporean and malaysian girl schools actually (more than 1 at least lol)!!

C - r d chances of singaporeans being lesbians high? lol... or at least open about it? like say u're a closet lesbian n this girl comes up to u n says that she's nuts about u, would u come out to her??

man this is hard... it's so freaking scary!

Thats cute lol!! urgh.. hahaha sometimes it just really contradict, i suppose maybe thats the only way for Singapore girls to really find a way to themselves... (girl school)!! maybe! its not infamy being one thou!

yes insanely high! if shes from a girl school. plus the fact that shes wise aware of that environment so she will be cool bout it, she might likely just be shock and stare at you for bit. so you react saying no im serious. thats pretty much how the process would be, the results im crossing my fingers. yes def ill come out if i really like her! she will know what to do, is whether she want to act on it! yes you're riight, just tell her, if she say no, np she leaving, u would just probably miss her deep. math time: never try its 0% , trying at least 50%! so good luck for that!

XD i NEARLY came out to her just now... i should have, am regretting now!! it was d perfect situation cause i was in d room with her but she was using her comp, n all her hsemates were in their own rooms doing their own things so no interruptions there! but i dunno... i chickened out!!! ARGH!!! i'll try again tmr if d situations good lol... man it's scary!

Hi,  just read the other posts and agree that you should tell her. If you are worried that her housemates will hear then maybe you should write something down on a piece of paper to give or show her when you have time alone. It doesn't have to be long just short and sweet.

yeah i came out to her but got rejected (crowd goes: "awwwwwww"). but oh well! i'm over it now. actually i think that because i told her, i got over her quicker. so to people who are scared to come out thinking that you'll eventually get over that person, tell her! if she's for it, awesome, but if not, you'll still get over it

i wrote a letter heh... was too chicken to tell her face to face. n then i called her n we talked for a while n she was totally cool with the whole thing. a couple of days after that, i went over to her place to see my friend and everything was absolutely normal. although i could see that at 1st she was a lil bit uncertain on how to act in front of our other friends. she was really cool about everything tho so thank goodness! XD

i'm back home now and everything's pretty good

I think that you should tell her that you're into a women or you would like a gf etc... something along those lines. Do you think that you could have a friendly non threatening conversation with her about this? I think it's a good way to test the waters. I also think you should bust out of your closet and tell everyone! It feels awesome, trust me!

Claah! My gf went to an all girls catholic boarding girl and she had loads of lesbo experiences, some with 'straight' girls from the sounds of it too!
