Some of us were chatting (possibly drunkardly) last night and realised that there needs to be more out there for the 25-35yo age bracket. There are lots of things on for uni students and the younger girls, and then there's things like Lemons with a twist for the older ladies.

Would anyone be interested in something that would cater to that market?

We decided that Julie (Props) is going to be the Ring Leader as she's got the resume to back it up, so Julie - over to you! ;)

And you guys have a great internet resourse to promote it!

The flinders on a sat used to be a more mature (but not overly mature) crowd but unfortunatly the flinders is closing That means that Luscious, L Lounge and Bada Bing have all finished (although i think Bada will start up again elsewhere) so there is def room in the market! Im happy to get involved also.

you mean there are get togethers for that gap already? whats L lounge?!

we were thinking something like monthly or bi monthly dinners (incase some need to save up) sit down, not too pretentious, nice wines? something something? or picnics since the weather is warming up?

would be good to hear what people might like to do.

parties are good if you dont want to talk or get to know anyone. the music is a great excuse to play deaf!

yeah the dinners are good. location needs to have round tables though, this long table thing is hell for those hard of hearing. -ahem-

OMG yeah! Round table would be better since I didn't get to talk to the people on the other end of the table. A hunt for round table restaurants is called for! :P Lol.

Yes, I remember this conversation and I think it's a great idea. It's something I was thinking about a couple of weeks ago, and it was nice to find I wasn't the only one (the only old one that is ). Nice dinners or picnics both sound good. Round tables sound good. And Julie as the Leader of the Gap you can stay till your 85 .Or longer.

I fit rather neatly into that age gap too so would support anything the "ring leader" and co conjure up (once I actually arrive of course)!

Hey ladies...on the eve of my grandiose move to Sydney, thought I would bring this thread back to life - so.....did we ever have a dinner for "The Gap" so to speak?
